Regular masks obscure the mouth & facial expressions, muffle sounds, and make communication difficult for everyone—
but especially for the d/Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing (D/HH). Clear masks make communication more accessible!

FOG-FREE!
New anti-fog plastic coating on helps keep these masks fog-free all day. The clear window panels
are made from a plastic used to make medical face shields and masks.
FABRIC & COLOR
All masks are made from a breathable cotton chambray. Adult masks are dark blue.
Kids masks are dark galaxy prints.
MASK CARE
Hand wash only. Let the mask soak for 30 mins in hot, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Hang to dry.
To store, roll rather than fold the mask. Do not bend the clear material as this could create permanent creasing.
The plastic has an anti-fog coating and works in many conditions. If you do experience fogging, spread a drop of dish soap across the inside of the clear panel and let dry.
Avoid alcohol-based wipes and sprays as these can remove the anti-fog coating.

THE DESIGN
A group of PS 347 parents, teachers, and students were dissatisfied with the other clear mask choices. They collaborated with designer and parent Ariella Knight to create this mask—and we love it! It's comfortable and good-looking. Plus the plastic window has an anti-fog coating which helps keep fogging to a minimum. Manufacturing kindly provided by the NYC Face Mask Initiative/ Alternew.
